The maps below show the location of the Bouddi Peninsula, 40km north from the centre of Sydney. The Sydney Basin shows up well as being centred on Sydney itself. The hills around Sydney are the dissected valleys of the (mainly) Hawkesbury and Terrigal Sandstones.  |
